i think the bomb will be placed in the game itself, placed over the bug codewise. saves a lot of frames on the bug-animation

the tiles are VERY busy, and imho don't fit with the character. i think you should look foor something simpler, flatter and less shaded
the meteor fits the character pretty well though, probably because its rather flat colours as wel

i think you could make it interact a lot more by putting the bear in the same perspective the guy is in, put the right leg behind his head, and his left more in front of his head
move the face along too

folds looking very nice for such low colour

all the monsters could use some more contrast
and all the sketches look happier, more playful, i think you should try to get that in the sprites. thinks like the short legs and beady eyes on the human

i prefer the top right style of shading and outlining, gives the most pop in the depth, plus not everything is outlined
i think you should shade the human a bit more though, like under the arm, and the arm itself, maybe the crotch too

the rock doesnt appeal to me at all. seems like a blob with some parts sticking out, i suggest you restart on that one and make it a bit bigger as well
the fish has the best shading of them all i think. clear shapes, not too much or too little of each colour, nice balance
maybe add a bit of shade on the middle of the assfin, where there now is a highlight
put a bit of a line on the lower part of the eyes and work on the lips a bit maybe
allso add some more decal like the stuff on his head.
lastly he lacks toes

the furry is nice too, but he needs some eyesockets and better fur. have you tried using a bit larger spikes of hair? more trianglish and dont just mirror the shading, lazy bum =P

maybe put the arms (+ shoulder pads) 1 pixel down and to the front, put the eyes 1 pixel higher and move the far leg in a bit, but only a bit, i think moving the whole leg a pixel would be too much.

put some hair on the lower bart of the back of his head ;) and sharpen up the dge of the axe, right now it looks a bit like a blow up toy, because of the heavy AA on the cutting edge

i prefer the 15 colour palette over the 16 colour one, but maybe change the metal hue to something more blue then purple.

and looking at it again, maybe lengthen up the arms a nudge and give them elbows =)

i got rid of the 2 triangles that are inside of the vanbox, lef the ones that are sticking out from below, thinking, i might just show it all. if the game really couldnt handle it i'd replace the wheels with 6 triangled octagons. but meh. i'm finished with it. trying my hand at a character now.  now focus on ken.

Ken - finish that character so i know what you're gonna do with the empty space =P

some love back from me as well:

exactly 100 triangles. of which 80 go to the wheels. -sigh-

you're working in 3dsmax right? are you counting triangles or polygons?
edit: allso, how do you set it so the pixels dont get blurry on the model?
