wanted to do something with just the ms paint colors. mostly an irish elk i suppose.
right now my major concerns are the volumes--how am i doing on them?
also, am i banding?

Nice and simple: What's your New Years Resolution? Be really serious, or be completely silly (monitor resolutions kick-ass). Of course, don't answer unless you want to or somebody makes you.

Yes. It is messy. Really messy. Right now I'm looking just for form and anatomy critique...because I really need to work on both those areas.
Here's the reference.
When it's good, I'll move on and repost with some more detail, get response, and so on and so on and so on....
I'm kind of going for a beat 'em up sprite look, though it might be too big...I might scale it later....
But yeah. Constructive criticism wanted.
Also, not that you cared, but the boat girl is on an indefinite hiatus.

. I'm still troubled by the arms...his right arm seems too short, and I know its because it goes back (which I might not be able to show until I add lighting?) and his left arm just seems...too long or too short :S.I'd like to hear from you all.

Main concern: Too dark? Lots of people on MSN say so...I need to figure out a good way to keep the brightness straight on a laptop screen...
Other concern: Face-likeness?
Everything else I really wasn't ready do post and get comments about, but what ever--rip me a new one. The colors are nothing like I intended the finished product to have...was going to go from greys first and add colors for a more emotional feel...and the lip color is just to distinguish from those greys. I guess this will need a overhaul of sorts.
PS: I'd try to be more consice/coherent but I'm really dizzy for some reason :S

13 colors.
I've been trying to move away from achieving realism and more towards making something that's actually usable (Hopefully eventually sprite-like...
)The current thing that bothers me is the Krylon can--I can't make it look like a can of spray paint for the life of me...I do have 3 more colors to play with, keep in mind.
As for the background; it's more of a temporary thing...I needed something other than black...I'll probably change it to something more interesting. I'm getting to the actual stream of paint to....just had to post this to motivate me to finish
.But anyways....destroy me with brutal comments and critiques!

I actually don't know why I'm posting this....perhaps can't get past it till I do?
Jumped in over the deep end then gave up, heh. It was going to be a random gift of pixelled pickles to hishnak cause I loved the play on words....but after about a month of it clogging my pixelling, I say w/e; used way to many colors and tried for something too realistic. So I made it greyscale and posted it.
