Pixel Art / Re: [WIP?] Thunderflash Hero

I'm wondering why you have all these shades of each colour, but no real solid shading aside from the hair. I mean, if you wanted him to be flat-looking, then by all means, you can ignore me. (I'm not being rude, honest! I'm just saying it's fine by me if you didn't want shading.) But I did go ahead and do a little edit. Now, I'm no expert, so I can't really do a whole lot, but shading is my favourite part. :P
I added wrinkles to the shirt and collar-thing, as well as highlights in the hair. I didn't change the shape of it, though, which is something I feel it needs... Also, you have extra blues in your pallet that are not used. :o

My last point is this would probably benefit from a light source. You have three that I can find!
On the legs and arms, it comes from either side; on the pants, it comes from between his legs; everywhere else, it comes from straight in front of him. I think I managed to unify them in my edit. When I was about to save, though, I realised his face had a different light source, heheh. :-[ But I changed it.

I was then going to up the contrast, but I was afraid it would change the feel of the piece. He seems really dusty like he's been traveling a lot.
Anyways, here it is. Hope this is at all helpful. :)

Umm. That dark pixel by the mouth is the eye. I'll try to make it a little more obvious -- lighten the eyebrow, maybe.
Belly, knee, chin... I don't think there are isolated pixels there. Anymore, anyways.

Actually, I was just creating these little guys for practice because I'm not really creative.  :(
But now that you mention it, it might be fun to try and build a world around them. I think I'll want to make some more before tackling that, though. Hm. I think that's opposite of how people usually work, isn't it...? :-\ But I want to study more techniques first.

Since I haven't received any more input on the blue guy, would you say he's complete? :-*

Anyways, here's another...

But I'm sad because it doesn't match the style of the other at all. :'( What can I do to fix this?

Wow, that's crazy.
Please elaborate on what "unnecessary pixels" you removed.

You kinda changed his expression, though. He should look dopey-cute.

I tried completely reshading him (first I tried just editing, but I was getting nowhere) without any dithering. How's he look?

Alright, I tried to get rid of most of the dithering, how's it look?

The biggest thing bugging me right now would be that Madara's hair is hanging on Aoi's shoulder, even though they're some distance apart. Also, to me, your feathers kinda look like scales. :o They're very smooth.

The title is plural because I want to make more, but don't need a bunch of topics.

Here's a little blue guy. On the right is the original, and on the left I tried to add colours. The plain blue one is very boring, but the colourful one is messy... I'm not very skilled at this and don't really know how to go about making him interesting. Any tips and edits would be appreciated.
He has short fur.

As an added note... I'm pretty sure I've matured since I first joined. So if you want to look at my past topics, please don't go any further than the one with the ant. I'll get back to that guy some time.

Pixel Art / Re: Wild Boar animation help needed

Just shorten it so it's behind the snout, rather than beside the eye. :) I removed nine pixels of the horn and it looks fine. I can't make an animated edit as I have no animation software, but I can post a still edit to show you what I mean.

Okay, so we all agree they look like tree trunks.
Now what are you planning on doing with them, though? Was what STE posted what you were trying to capture?
Try making them straighter. Because right now, with how round they are, it's hard not to think they once used to be a forest. ;)

Though the title is "Landscape/cliffside," it looks much more like a forest of stumps. ??? So what is it exactly?
Plus, it's as if you saved it as .JPG, though it's .GIF. Either that or you blurred it for some reason. This isn't really pixel art, it seems. :-\
