If this is the Styxx then you have a very uplifting/bright/carefree visualisation of it.

I've been looking at it and..may the force be with you on this one!!!
You have a lot going on in this piece. I don't have the skill to help on light sources.

Question. Is metal/iron/steel also an element for this guy?
If not, you could try out how it looks if you strip away the shoulder pads and replace them by stone armour.
Kinda the same as you did with his underpants.

Yeah, Characters tend to be very believable when you base them on people you know in real life.
I guess that is because you get all the details/combination of features you would'nt normally think of.
I read somewhere that Half-Life's Gordon Freeman is pretty much 100% based on Valve's sound guy at that time.

Nice one. I love golems!
If i made an elemental golem i'd also makes his eyes burn to give it a strong contrast with the ice surrounding it.

Pixel Art / Grundysoft shooter Game

Hi all,

I am working on a retro shooter. For now dubbed Elevatorshooter as part of the 7dfps contest which is now finished (the contest).
My friend does all the coding. I do the music and pixelart.

It's very heavy on pixelart and kinda looks like Wolfenstein.
Except for the fact that you are a stationary target.
I am a big toy-enthousiast and like to put in some GI-Joe style characters.

The pixels are huge indeed. I work on pixel size and then double it to make it look extra chunky.
I am not really an artist so i really need your helps. Especially with the animations.
I will share some stuff here as the game progresses.Here are some walk cycles that i think could use some work.
I will post weekly updates on my site.

What do you think?
