hahaha, I don't know why but this strikes me as really funny. I think you should make the hood fall back though, so it'll loop nicely. But i'm assuming this is a WIP, (based on the sketchy arms during the animation) so whatever.

Still looks better, but if you put this next to the dirt tiles, it'll look strange.

Uhm, okay. Anything specific about the dirt that makes it not look like dirt? How should I go about fixing this? You've been awfully vague as to any possible solution to this problem.
hehe, sorry about that. The circles don't read as being dirt, dirt doesn't contain such large particles. Smaller bits should be used. Also, only two colors are really visible in the dirt, so that third one should be more visible, make it lighter.

Top-down, but that doesn't really matter for something like this. Dirt is dirt is dirt, looks the same from every angle, imo at least.

The dirt seems to work better...but it really doesn't look like dirt. Fix the dirt and it'll look pretty nice.

Wow..that is just absolutely beautiful (or horribly grotesque, depending on how you look at it :P) I have no crits, I think you should call this one finished.

The main thing that strikes me as weird is the legs; with such a large body, it would need thicker legs and larger feet to hold itself up. There's hardly any muscle in the lower leg, I think those need to be beefed  up a bit. Also, the feet are in awkward positions.

The "M" in "King Me!" in that last pic is very hard to read.

If you design it with functionality in mind, it will be much more believeable.

Looks much better now that the robots and mines are different colors.

About the game, it would look way better if the player and robots visually moved instead of simply jumping to a new position. Tougher to code, but certainly worth it. Also, I think it would make more sense to use the arrow keys for movement, mainly because laptop users won't be able to play the game in its current state.
