Yes. Ketsui is a great game with an amazingly well thought out scoring system. Graphically I think it's on par with Dodonpachi but beats it game play wise, but it's nice have some 2D shooters still being made.

I played this in the arcade some time ago and really enjoyed it. I preferred the game mechanics of this one over Dodonpachi. I've still got Ketsui wrapped up in it's box (my favourite Cave shooter) as I haven't bought a Japanese 360 as yet.

Any other shoot em up players out there jumping on the wagon?

This is the Amstrad CPC version. There were 2. I had the Melbourne House version which wasn't as good as the Virgin Mastertronic version. The still managed to fit in the trade mark head knee and throw (albeit a little rough, but it's there). Apparently they managed to fit all the moves into this version. Your artwork looks much nicer and I really support this project :)

Hmmm, tricky subject as peoples structure differs between races, food and the terrain they live on. I know that in St.Lucia (my parents home town) the women seem to be a lot more curvy than the women I saw when I was in Japan who were more petite and slighter than the St.Lucian women. If you look at some of the work that Shannon has done on pixeljoint, her women are curvy as well as being heavy set. Some of the artwork has received crits about this, but I have seen more women like that, than the leggy, busty bombshell.

It may be best to check out a life drawing class and sketch some females.

I like the look of the logo and I prefer number 14 as I like the direction that the curves flow in. I would say that it looks too "generic star character" which is quite common. Definitely go vector when you have the chance.
