sorry about the soon part, RL everyone.

here is the result, it still needs work I think but it's improving. Something still not right about the trunks, now they look too rounded I think. and too smooth, I need to bring out the bark more.

oh and I forgot to work on giving the trees a rougher shape, in fact I did the opposite, they look like globes now, I think I was trying to get them smoother, I'll have to work on that. I think I might post the old tops on the new trunks and then extend those highlights. Crits away!
oh and I still need help with this project if you know someone, I have time again.

wow, looks like people were flinging torches while I was away, but didn't get too out of hand, okay I skimmed the posts only but I think I got the jist, I did originally make a long animation, then I cut it down, then I tweaked it a bit and made it look better by centering it, but then we added decorate so I was able to add back in frames and also adjust framerates, oops I was gonna post the result but I will have to do it tonight. thanks everybody.

When he died, wouldn't he be placed lower than he actually is?

They fall out of the sky, so I think he'll rest on the ground as long as the animation is over quickly.

Camus, I believe it is about 7-10 frames but I will have to check because I have the specific numbers at home. My animation program is not here atm. I want the top of his head to blow off, then his lower jaw to disintegrate before he crashes to the ground, however by default the monster's sprite will move toward the ground upon death, so I'm not sure I should have the animation move all that much, I only did so cause I wanted to show where the pieces land, not sure how to remedy that because it probably extends the image more than is necessary.

much better but the wings still need to be moved back a bit, you'll notice in the model and picture that if you were to draw a line across the middle of the wingspan, it would not pass through the bubble part of the cockpit.

yeah maybe I'm being too picky, I just need to cut down on the empty space, make the debris fall more smoothly and keep the blood flowing as it stops in like frame 3, also their needs to be a few more transition frames at the very beginning, like someone pointed out. Anything else?

Listen to camus, the man knows what he's talking about   ;)

Like has been said, the wings aren't evenly lined up with the cockpit, also you don't have the engine(is that what it is?) proportionally large enough if you look at the pictures closely. It is significantly larger than the cockpit, currently you have them at about the same size. I suggest you make it wider and longer. The engine is nearly half the length of the craft. The engine in your previous version is more accurate, though the colors are off.

Hi I did this for a Doom mod, but it looks like something out of monty python, all jerky and stuff. any suggestions for making it smoother or whatever it's lacking? I know it bounces up and down, I can fix that.

I will try to post the original doom cacodemon death for comparison. Thanks, for CC.

you can kind of see it here but not animated :(

I don't have a lot of time to devote to this, so my project has been put on hold for some time, but I have a little time and I want to fix these trees, these are supposed to be RTS warcraft style. I know they need some work, give me your crits please.
