happy I'm not the only one prefering the old one, but I guess the old models would'nt be that cool to the newer people, so it is basicly a trick to lure more people :(

I agree though to chriskot, you can tell pretty easy the transformed version, not as easy as te old one though...

a further comment, I like the transformation more with the Xbox. it is more transformation in it, it looks much better when parts end up in a whole different part (like the green light bulb). this is not the thing with, for example with the Wii, which just simply expand into a robot.

otherwise pretty cool stuff!

I think the upper one puts the shield in focus. also about shadows, say if the sun is behind the shield, the shadow would be in the first image. The sky though maybe could be changed a bit, if the sun is behind the shield the colours would be more like circles and not as you have done it. I think it nice though, do some polishing and add a cool emblem and it rocks!

I think the second one is bad if you look at composition, the sky break the composition. and you really don't have any good composition at all as we can see in the first one, where all is made to focus on the emblem which is the main thing in the picture right?

PS. look out for not have the same colours inside the emblem as outside the emblem, the emblem must stick out and not melt into the background, also I don't know but the colours may not be the best, but I think there are plenty of better artist to help you with that part.

I think it would be nice if you make more details in your little wings...

suggest you take the same style as fil_razorback have on his wings but the same size as yours..

honestly I like the first verision better.... mayby not in a anatmoy way but I think the first one is better.... Gon doesn't have that kind of muscles......

I think though you should make his shoulder bigger in the first verision...

well, I'm a noob, just my thoughts.... listen to Mangust anyway to learn the right proportions..

about the pike thing I just wanted to mention it... I don't recomend you make the pike wielder like that.... don't know if its true though..... have it in my Audio book about Alexander the great if I'm right....

I'm not a great knower of sarissas, pikes etc... but Alexanders Macedonians had some kind of equipment to help them hold the lance like a rope or something, don't remember really... otherwise it would be hard to wield a such long lance together with a shield.

like the cloak movement and the overall animation is good too :y:

maybe you should have a small animation when he stamps of the ground?

not so good at animation eigther but this sounds quite ok, depending on how you want the game, you can make a run cycle with only 2 frames... but I recomend 4-8... 6 is maybe a good choice...

also 1 frame for getting hit? In the old megaman game its a white flashing animation... is the flashing thing included in your 1 frame? otherwise I think it would be nice to increase the frames.

Me again after some studies and hopefully improvement... they are certainly not perfect but I think at least they are an improvement...

nr 14 is an old one using a tutorial from Pixeljoint...

I like 15 the most... almost think it's perfect :)
