Yes, ol' silvir really is a rockstar...

I must admit, I'm very impressed with the entries thus far. Heck, I figured it would be a piece of cake to get my entry onto the thing... but now... not so sure. :)

I missed out on the first one... let's hope I don't make that mistake again. :)

(except an entry soon)

Seeing Adam's lineart again reminded me of the time I colored a few of 'em. Figured since there's a lot of new people around here that it wouldn't hurt to post 'em.

To everyone else: take a shot at coloring his lines. They're a lot of fun.

Thanks for the comments fellas, all valid and noted. Althought, Xion, that food-item you describe sounds mighty nasty. Maybe that's just me. ;)

After being inspired by the visual style of old movies and such, here's a little lady:

Pixel Art / Shirtless guy [new piece]

...because no pixel art forum is complete without shirtless guys.

It's been ages since I've pixeled... but I got a tablet for Christmas (8x6 Graphire4) and I just had to try pixeling again. Lineart done with tablet, coloring done with mouse. 10 colors.

Usual C+C, please. :)

Pixelation mods are teh 0wnage.

Aaaanyways, on the topic of organization: I like just a few forums. Current setup works for me. But, for all those people that really like to be organized, we could try implementing a sort of "tagging" feature. Just think Flickr, del.icio.us, and whatnot. It's a thought.

I'm still a sucker for Paint Shop Pro.

Never could get used to pixeling is Photoshop or GraphicsGale. Pixen looks nice... but I don't have a Mac. Oh well.

Is the whole first post thing still popular? If so, OWN3D!

If not, ignore that.

Pixel Art / Green dude
« on: September 17, 2005, 03:32:51 am »
What better way to return to pixeling than a hunched-over, green spikey dude?

Man... I feel rusty (I'm sure it shows). I probably haven't done more than one piece since pixelation went down. Pretty bad.

Anyways, I'll take the usual harsh C+C. Thanks.

Howdy, ya'll.

Ol' silvir is back... and not a mod any more. ;) Nice to see all the old people back, it's been a while.
