someone please ban this account. This is ridiculous to be caught plagiarizing and still claim it as your own pixel art is absurd.

Stop acting like you made that I know you didn't I've seen it years ago on pixel joint gallery.

Not only have you stolen art work you've stolen artwork and claimed it to be your own then even after being caught still claiming it as your own.

i have like 99% of my reviews 5 star on fiverr, i never had client upset with my work..
and he claim i am a scammer even tho i never even spoke to him, because he saw one of my images in pinterest with some random noname account with no followers... are you kidding me?!!?

https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelArt/comments/h8zrl6/new_character_for_fightin_2d_game/

BTW turning a anime character into a pixel character and putting it in a game is also stolen. the art is original but the character is not yours to put in a game.

Funny how this post
https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelArt/comments/gx0v27/blazing_bird/
Was removed by the moderators over on pixel art reddit, why? because it was stolen
It makes me sick as well that someone saw this stolen art and thought wow miarapixelart is amazing at drawing flames. You should just add a stolen in your name. Miarastolenpixelart really rings off the tongue.

Do you want me to keep digging up more examples of you stealing artwork?
wanna link that fiverr so we can see more?

this guy is insane, that girl name is Rina , i created the pixel art version of Rina for one of my fiverr clients, i can provide the chat logs... lol...the referance was also made by her so we didn't steal it either. (again, the anime referance was made by the fiverr client, it is her materials)
that reddit is my reddit, it was removed becuase i forgot to add OC tab to the post (original content)
you must add OC tab to post in reddit pixel art section, and i forgot, let me show you what the reddit mod said : (This piece was not marked as original content or credited an artist (with a link in comments). ).
watch the youtube below for proof that i made rina and the bird.

check the youtube channel name, MIARA PIXEL ART
i don't even know why he is doing it, but please mods...

BTW I wouldn't even consider you an artist at all, more of a plagiarizer. You posted in the looking for work section with some impressive sprites. Lets take a look at them.

Oh interesting I think I remember favouriting this on pixeljoint awhile ago
After a little bit of digging it looks like you aren't the only one plagiarizing this one
https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/542543086345021143/

I find it funny that this might be the only work in here you didn't plagiarize yet I still find that hard to believe since the quality of art you actually make looks like this.

In my opinion you have no right posting on a thread about the pixel art community posing as a member of it, in fact posing as a pixel artist at all. You want to make pixel art good, make some pixel art don't steal it. I hope anyone that hires you find's a new artist and I might even go out of my way to make sure they do.

I assume you are young. Naive, you want pixel art projects but don't have the skill to make what you want to make. It takes years and years and years of practice and hard work to accurately produce what you envision. I've been doing portraits for 12 years and still I can't produce what I envision.. It's close but far from perfect.

I don't wanna make you sad or scare you away cause that would be 1 less person in a community that I love, so please don't leave, just make your own damn content. and please someone take down that plagiarized portfolio.

For the past couple days I've been getting back into pixel art, mostly out of boredom from staying inside.
I can't help but notice, there's noone around especially on pixeljoint. I was really active around 2014 2013. I remember pixeljoints weekly challenge catching tons of submissions, and all around activity was just high.

back in 2014 a weekly challenge would have up to 70 participants. The past few challenges have struggled to maintain 6?!!

and even back in 2014 it was on a decline, not sure when the golden age was but I'de guess the early 2000's-2010's when handheld devices were reliant on pixel art. DS's Gameboys etc. but with videogame graphics skyrocketing since 1996 I guess it's just ment to die.

as full time artist, I got tons of clients, I am refusing commisions since no time... so that answers your question

Pixel Art / Pixel coloring
« on: June 26, 2020, 09:08:34 pm »
I downloaded this image to test the style of the artist,
I noticed there was a big mess, now my question to you, is this intended? or some weird resize bug..
it would take hours to create so many differenet colors and devide them on the pixels..

You can uncheck the continous option too in Aseprite when using the paint bucket tool:

omg u just saved me so much time
thank u so much
do u know any more tips like that?

It depends on the program you're using, but in Photoshop you can use the fill tool and set it to non-contiguous fill (i.e. it will change every instance of that colour in the image). Make sure the tolerance is set to 0 so that it only affects the exact colour you want to change and then just click on a pixel in the outline.

If the colour appears anywhere else in the image then you'd also have to select the area you want to change with the marquee tool first (in this instance you could draw a box round the head) so that it only affects that part of it.

My guess is that most modern software will have an analogous approach.

(I'm still using CS5 so the exact layout won't be the same anymore, but Adobe programs are pretty intuitive)

sorry i forgot to mention, aseprite
