This looks more like metal plated man rather then Armor. Since its metal, I don't think the muscles would be proponent at all, only its basic shapes. If you wanna make em less plain, then add designs. OR it would be that you made it like that purposely for some reason...in that case, the torso is a bit off, you skipped out on a lot of the major Muscles, and the biceps are way to low, throwing off the entire arm. The second half of the arm is also messed up.

I love your animations. I like the guy animation, maybe ass a more serpent-like tone to it. And if you ever decide to animate another, Go for #4 and make him buffer and more armored, cool like. Like some kind of Rhino/Armordillo Dragon.

advocate: your game is kinda irelivent to this topic...

i think one of the problems is that you have many colors withought enough contrast.  also, i think you should add some hard edges to the tree, to give it some 'charicter'.

also, i kinda feel like the leaves are pillow shaded, but i guess it looks alright anyway.

Sup and2, been a while. Well I know there are some mistakes, but i cant pick up on it. I can only hint on the trunk shape and color, and maybe the leaves needs to have more dynamic colors. If you go to the Recorded Pixel Pieces thread HERE and you watch Helms Platformer Mockup, at around 10 mins you will be able to see him make his tree. IMO is pretty amazing, and the recording is even better then a step by step WIP.

I have been eager to play this game since I ran into it on Gameshot at school. I was surprised and frankly overjoyed to find the pixel artist on these forums, because it was the art of the game that drew me into it. Your work is outstanding all except the Explosion. I was totally disappointed once i played the game, it was choppy, not smooth enough and well....not really fun.   I say this with complete belief,  The art outweighed the programing by more than a mile.

Yea, the vanishing point needs to be higher, and have the horizontal break a bit higher too. The perspective is to sharp/steep? thats the only way o can explain it. Nicer colors would be cool, but it dosent have to be done.

Hello my peeps!  ;D

I have been working on this small RPG male character and well...I need help. The run animation for up (facing back) looks like a....well erm...Japanese school girl jumping rope? I am aware that the color ramp needs fixing, and so dose some of the postures a bit, but I have no idea what to change. CC would be awesome, Edits even better...CC + EDIT....wow....i love you :p
