haha that's pretty funny!

As for the artwork itself, I think you could use some darker shades since the contrast is quite low right now. Also, there's a bit of pillow shading going on with the dude on his knees.

I find the homeless guy quite charming, especially when he's dumpster diving. The Big Lebowski is very recognizable, though I thought he carries around a glass for his White Russian?

Looking good so far. May I suggest having his tongue stick out a little more to show the struggle, and also add some blue/purple tint to his face for the lack of oxygen? He should also squint more because of all the water.

This is the most dramatic drowning face I could find, for your reference:

Did Psyduck lose its brain? It didn't have much anyway :P
I quite like Jigglypuff, and the other two seem a little too green.

Here's a reference for a lady riding a horse:

I think she can sit up more and wear a long dress that extends below the body of the horse. Also, to let the hair look more natural in the wind, they shouldn't line up so evenly. The wind could have a stronger effect on the back pigtail than the front one.

For this one:

The lines from the left and right sides of the street converge in an odd fashion. Also, many of the lines appear to have jaggies because the slopes are not suitable for pixel art.

This one here I like. The lines are very clean. I'm curious what it could look like if you gave him glowing (red?) eyes and a subtle but evil grin.

The shadows for the eyes could be darker. Is the character a guy with long hair? The broken line on the left (his right side) breaks the flow of the hair. I think the face is drawn well. How many colours are used?

Hey all, my name is piffany (real name Tiffany). I'm a 2nd year PhD student in computer graphics. Originally I was doing some research in picture logic puzzles like nonograms/Paint by Numbers, but that led me to pixel art because being able to create nice pixel artworks is crucial to designing a nice looking puzzle. The stuff done by people in the forum is just amazing. I read through all the tutorials, but as soon as I tried to draw something myself, I realized how difficult it is. I'm interested in learning more about how pixel artists work, and maybe develop some tool that help facilitate some mundane tasks in pixelling. Right now, I'm looking into the most basic thing--how to turn a smooth curve (say, in vector format) into a pixelated line the way pixel artists do. If you are interested in providing any feedback (no commitment necessary) or even collaborate on something, please let me know. I would love all the help I can get, plus it's always better/less biased to have other knowledgeable people to evaluate my work.

Just to give you an idea what I'm working on, here are three curves shown in gray. I'm trying to rasterize them on the underlying grid, and the pink pixels are what I think represent the original curves best. I'm trying to come up with an algorithm for doing this automatically, but this requires data and feedback from real artists.

"PAPAYA BUSTER", a club flyer, busier than a busy something-something. Recycled some old unused stuff in there.

This poster makes me so happy looking at it!

By the way, is there any way to reply to a message without quoting it?

I haven't tried your program, but just wanted to say, the interface is so pretty! I love the rainbow theme  ;D
