OK...I've been fighting with this portrait of and on for a while now, so I'm finally breaking down and asking for help...

Here's the sprite:


Here's where I'm at with the portrait...This is iteration 3 or 4:


The part that I'm concerned about at the moment is the fleshtone highlighting on the cheek...Thoughts? Suggestions? Anything??

To me it kinda looks like she's crouching and walking with her lower half...The lower legs are entirely too short and the knees are emphasized too much during the forward step with each leg...I think if you bring the knee highlight up about 2 pixels it'll present better...Either that or extend her lower legs by 2 pixels...*shrugs*

My first actual pixel piece came somewhere back in the mid/late 80's on one of the really early model Mac's... :P

It looks really good Taka...My only suggestion would be to swap the darkest green with something a bit more purple...Still in the same luminance range however...But the piece does work well as it is...
