I think they are bad programers and are forcing you into behing a bad artist! :\

the artist vs programmer fight must never end. and generaly it spawns good resaults!

take care,

Kaz

You know those Hobo Fight DVDs? We should release Nerd Fight DVDs. We'd make millions!

I guess no one else thinks so, but I know for a fact you can do better work than this.  I've seen some fantastic work from you and this just doesn't seem to stand up to your usual quality.  Obvious anatomical issues, Some contrast problems, and the line shading...well, I guess that one is your style choice.  This one just doesn't stand out to me, and your stuff almost always stands out.

I totally agree, Sedge can do much better than this.

Yeah, ace man, that's some really cool stuff.

I'd like to see the gun a little more shaped though, it's a little thick perhaps.
Perhaps working with a little more contrast would be good? I kinda dislike the blue, storm troopers always seemed white to me :)

Yeah, the blue does make it look off. I'll also look at a real stormtrooper rifle and see what I can do. Thanks.

@ SplatPixel: Always nice to hear from a pixeller as good as you, thanks.

@ Coner: Zoom in to about 5x, see what it looks like. This would make more sense if I could find the thread I made this for.

Inspired by some 15x15 or 16x16 pixels of Darth Vader and Luke.

I agree, this sprite kicks five different varieties of ass. However, I suggest you change the color of the cape as it blends in with the leg and makes him look very unbalanced.

Nice work! Love the dithering on the fish once it gets bigger. I don't like the little blood splotches when you eat a fish, but that's all graphics-wise.
It's a fun little game, though I've died a couple times because you can't use two keys at once...(I'll try to avoid a big fish, but it will lock up because I press two keys at the same time). Still fun. Nice work!

Wow! I love that last piece. I tried to pixel in the same style and mine looks like crap. Anyways, I was going to agree with the scribbling until I saw the dithering, which looks much, much better IMO. I fully agree that this would make a great game(I was thinking a click adventure like Loom, personally).

I can see the lightest shade, and it adds depth.

Anyways, I still haven't gotten some nice tiles done. *sigh*
I can't seem to put them all together right.

Sweeeet. This challenge is so sexy. Even if it's over, I want to get some tiles done.
