I'll take 24 if it's still free.

I think toning down the saturation of the sky would really help with readability.

Skull = :'(
Might be possible to extend the back of the head further to the left...

Take a look at this. Linewise it's very similar to yours, but the rendering is much better which is where I feel your piece falls short.

Hope it helps.

Agree with AlienQuark and Xion on the idle.

I also have a concern with the weapon. It just doesn't look like the circular end is capable of rotating; it looks like one solid length of metal with a stud in it.
I'd suggest going with something more like this:

I've never such a high edit to reply ratio :o!
I think this looks good, but a couple of things are bugging me about the face/hair.

First, is the horizontal clump of hair next to the eye. Not only is it going against the flow of the hair all around it, but it also seems to be defying gravity, and there's nothing in the piece to suggest motion. I think it either needs to be shortened or rotated.

The second thing that I find odd is how low the cheekbone is on the face. I think it could do with being raised considerably.

Hands are no fun. Although fun can be had with hands...

Peace.

Well I'm glad I posted here. It has restored my confidence in them.
@Crow: Never said I didn't like them...

Spent the last few days on and off making a set of emoticons for a friend of mine's new forum.
Thought I should get some comments on them, as a lot of people I show them to seem to be disliking them.

Still got quite a few left to do, and I should probably mention that I'm using a tweaked version of Snake's palette (subject to change).
Oh, and yes, the circles are NPA.

What he's saying is that if you learnt the lesson properly the problem would not bleed into your sketches, and not that you should treat these sketches as studies.
