I could've sworn I replied to this ... must've been to harsh ...

it was something along the lines of me feeling sorry for the elephant, with which I meant to sayt
that her legs are to stubby/thick

the upper part of her body could work, but the legs need to be at least 1.5x as long and perhaps more

not sure what's going on at the start with the sort of motionblur inspired thing ... looks weird imo ...

also the falling of the leaves looks more like dripping jell-o from a window. could be what you were going for though ...

good comments, was kinda thinking the same about the blood on the crawler ... will most likely remove that in the next edit.

firehydrant is a great idea, will see what I can do about that, my own Idea was indeed a lamppost ...

so, time for another update. I positioned them in the correct order (about time)
I also started the environment which is still VERY rough mind you, but it gives an idea about the direction I'm thinking of heading.

I'm not sure about that. It's a cast shadow from his head, and there's harsh shadow everywhere on this piece, so I think it might look too soft or just incorrect if he makes a smoother transition.

it's not so much about smoothing it out as it is about making it a less straight line right now, the shadows left side is just a straigt line down, imo adding a pixel to the top and bottom moved one to the left gives it a rounder appearance ... might be just me nitpicking though.

Not sure what he's in love with but that's looking good.

Now for the crits (if you're having them)
At 2x he appears to have some feline features though, intended or not ?
(think vincent from that wayback beauty and the beast tv series)
his backwards arm goes into shadow/darkens pretty fast perhaps add a slight remembrance of the color of his skin instead of just grey ?
Also, that dark patch on his shoulder, appears to be rather sudden/sharp could use a rounder transition.

that said, I really DO like it ...

it might help if you would post it without background and brighter colors.
it's bugger hard to see what's going on ...

ofcourse ! that is the effect I am talking about.
Thank you for giving a visual representation of that, eventhough it's in a different application.

just for the record, what IS it with people misinterpreting bacca's posts lately ??
I for one did read it exactly as he meant, a genuinely interest in the dimensions he hasn't heard of before ...

oh well back on topic ...

small tip perhaps if you use photoshop for pixeling (me ducks for cover) you can use filter -> other -> offset
to get the efffect of getting the edges of the tile in the middle while having the middle at the edges to be able to paint away the edgetiling (did that make sence ?)
