Awesome. Haven't seen any art from you in a while, man.
I really like the palette you used for this.
Though, I would add lighter highlights toward the middle of the column to give it a better sense of depth.

You got to spend some extra time trying to get that general likeness before you go onto fine detail. Like, have your reference image inches away from your work, constantly looking back and forth. I may have spent too much time on this considering its an edit but I have lots of fun trying to capture alikeness.

I love the way you did his eyes, so I sort of played on that. He looks like a really interesting alien or something. I edited some anatomical things mostly, but still kept that alien look.

My main beef with this is the sharp features you're using. I'm assuming shes suppose to be under the age of 30 but with all the sharp wrinkles and whatnot she looks either dead or old. I made a quick edit to show you. Also, I'd wait to add the white spirals and sparkles until you're done. Focus on form before details like that.

Also, I made her face more symmetrical. A good technique to get symmetry right is to flip the image horizontally often.
