That's because the DS is backlit while the GBA SP is lit from the sides.  I'm sure the LCD is a little better too.   ;D

Online oekaki tools are just updated versions of MS Paint, but they do handle different palettes, though not indexed color modes.  =)

It's good practice and fun, but you should definately avoid them for big or important pieces.   :)

MMORPGs are just a bad choice for novice game makers, but too many start off making mmorpgs right off the bat.  =)

I really like your art style!

Everything you posted certainly is a wip, and you're way better of an artist than I, but I noticed you use a lot of bright colors and lot of dark colors together.  Maybe you can try using similar color tones.  =)

Otherwise, I am in awe of your pixels.  =)

Why does EVERYONE want to do a freaking MMORPG!?

Don't people realize they are REALLY boring?   :-[

Plus I could pull off a playable mmorpg alpha in a week.  I will never understand the people who work on projects for over a year without much to show for it.   :'(
