Pixel Art / Re: wolfs and dragons/ animated

The one thing that is really bugging me is this wolf:
When his head goes up to howl, it shrinks drastically. It should get a bit smaller to show the change of angle, but it gets so small it looks like the head is actually shrinking. It's odd.
well that was my very first animation :"D and i do agree with the head
^^
Not to mention the feet look like they're twisted wrong.
The wolf is facing us more but the feet are pointed super straight/away from us.
Also, is he meant to look starved? Those look like his ribs, poor thing.
i didnt really notice the feet, but now that you mention it >_> its a little weird looking now to me
and yeh hes starving a little XD

hello im new here and i like it here all ready =3
im a high school student looking for advice.

hey i did these on deviant art (made these yesterday)
i barrowed theses and colored them from a friend here

the rest i did,

This is my very first Mugurar wolf, i did him all by my self and it took me 8 hours.

(theres different species so i will only show one)

Im making a website with a friend of mine called "Mugurar" you can adopt wolfs and watch them grow, were a little behind because after these wolf i didnt want to animate anymore wolfs (cause they sucked and i wanted good looking wolfs) so i have some one else animating them while i color them, like these
(only showing 2 because theres too many to show all right now)

um i got more pixel-ed stuff other than wolfs but mostly avatars, i only in th past 3-4 months gotten into pixel art and i find it so much fun

Can you tell me if im coloring ok im my animated ones? I use GIMP so im always up for better ways to use gimp.
i dont know i can take on any critic =3 i just want to get better
