I've been working on a game for a few months now, and I'm looking to implement/gauge how intense the graphics I'm looking for will be! This opportunity will be for a single hero character. Male, with idle, a single attack, hit, and dying animations.

The style I'm desiring for the overall game will be "colorful" and "full of life," similar to The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. However, the character being commissioned shouldn't look like the characters from the game. I'll attach an image closer to what I'm thinking.

I'm extremely open to input from artists as for the proportions of characters. The platform for this game is mainly mobile, with a resolution of 360x640.

I'm looking for someone who can perform this task, and may be interested in continuing to work on the game's other needs. This is but one of 8 characters I'm looking for.

I'm looking to spend about ~$15 AN HOUR [which I totally forgot to add], so please include how long you think it would take for you to create this character!
