I believe the spot light is ok, as long as there stays high contrast between the BG and the curls.

But do watch the girl in TheOnes version, that is a big improvement!

Dpixel, his doodle has nothing to do with the final cutyness. Cutyness often comes from very exaggerated poses! You could do what elk did , with some shorter legs and arms, and there you have a very cute character!

It is quite obvious which fisherman :p

How about moving the image a bit to the right, to get a more interesting composition? And instead of going brighter, you could also give him a red suit. That could work quite realistically, and it defenitely makes him stand out...

Oh, and also, you might want to play with the angles of your waterfalls. It would be strange if they were all pointed to the camera, and it especially annoys me on the middle one of the set on the left.

Why not put the focus on one interesting aspect, using those 4 colors?

This seems to get a beautiful scene, why not make it beautiful and interesting? ;)

Free Camera, I love this stuff and its fresh colors! However, those tiny sprites, at what size are they supposed to be shown? They really are unreadable (especially their faces) on 1x, but they do work great at 2x and 3x!

At what size will they be shown in the game?

I agree that the girl is now an overdose of saturation.

I made an edit to show how you could make the sprite more readable at 1x

There is a jump indeed, but thisone is great!

I like the new flow, if you could do this with the same size of the waves in length, but a lot shorther in height, that would be great I think!
