Pixel Art / Sprite Base [WIP]
« on: July 19, 2010, 04:11:11 pm »
I'm doing a sprite base for a guy, and I need some tips.

Specifications: "What I'm looking for, in total, is the base sprite outline for each of the four main sprite positions (north, south, east, west) and each of the frames for their respective walking animations. The size of the sprite is 32x64 pixels but the sprite does not have to cover the entire height of 64 pixels."

My current line art:

I like the front view, but the side I can't figure out. I will be animating later.

EDIT: The site screwed up my line art, so please use the direct link.

Anyways, how could I improve it?
Inspired by megaman.

Hi. I'm working on a kinda sci-fi style RPG, and I'm having some trouble.

Here's the image:

and the palette:

The blue thing is supposed to look like a screen. Like computer/TV/cellphone screen.
C&C welcome. I'm not very intelligent when it comes to pixel art terms,  so please try to explain it simply.
Also, I was looking if someone could guide me on how to make female sprites?

I'm rather new to pixel art, but I wanted to see if I could get some help on these.
They use arne's pallette.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to animate this.
C&C appreciated.
