Pixel Art / Trying to Improve

Hello everyone,
I've been making Hulk(without using references) in RPG or 3/4 perspective.
I think I have some perspective issues and probably muscle toning issues. I'd be glad to have your help. I'd like to learn to have right perspectives, better coloring and shading techniques.

So, I've decided to make another piece that would depict a story. Therefore, I've made this piece.
This is a rough sketch
Instead of making real cartoons I just made stick-figures. They both are in the mine. The yellow part is the treasure.
The stick-figure at the bottom is about the reach the treasure, but then lost hope and gave up but the second figure at the top is still mining and will reach the treasure.
I need help with some textures to make the mine more lively and beautiful, so some help would really be appreciated.
Other than that, if you have anything to say you are welcome.

So this is a Tobi's mask. I just got an animation software and so decided to animate something and hence I chose something easy. I decided to make Tobi from Naruto anime. I made his mask and shown sharingan. If you have compliments please put em here. Thanks in advance for help and sorry again to those who helped me making with Charaka.
