Hello all,

been hanging around for a few weeks now, browsing, gaining some knowledge and being generally impressed. Thought it was about time to make my 1st post!



I intend for this chap to form the base of many sprites in a game project.  This is why he's naked at the moment! I probably wont need most of the detail as he will end up clothed, but it's a challenge to myself to get it as good as I can, and worth being careful in case I decide to have semi nude people wandering about.

Obviously I intend to animate him, but want to get him to a finished standard before embarking on that mammoth task.

Mainly looking for C+C regarding how well he reads, particularly: Can you tell it's the same guy and pose, but from different angles? Animated gif below may help.



I know there are many issues that will need fixing, i.e. some banding I probably cant see and his head seems a bit pillowy and there may even be some serious anatomy problems, but I've stared at this guy for so long now it's hard to see what needs doing by myself. The two poses represent 60+ hours of work for me so far.  Yeah I'm slow.  I'm new to pixelling and a bit of a perfectionist.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing some thoughts and putting some more work in.
