Pixel Art / Deers, Birds & Others

Alright so here's a little pixel dump of various things that have collected over the past few months. I don't get around to pixeling much and haven't worked on anything huge really so I didn't feel the need to make individual posts for each.
Critiques, edits, palette changes, suggestions are all welcome. I'll do my best to address anything mentioned but as it stands these aren't really being worked on.

Alright so one of my oldest pixel art pieces was this fire elf character I made up. Had come up with some ideas and all for this race of elves. Later on down the line after honing in some more pixel skills I redid the sprite again trying to bring out some facial features and show my improved skill. The second time rolled around and I figured why not revamp the piece again. Looked better and at the time was probably pretty decent for me.

One thing all these pieces were lacking was an interesting and thought out light source and suffered from mirroring more or less. So that's where the third revamp and fourth piece came in. Just finished this one and tried to include a strong light source and some palette tweaks. Any comments or edits are welcome on improving this piece or thoughts on the progress over the years.

Here's something I cooked up today in GG. It's a sprite form of my old character from Lineage 2. Some of the detail I didn't pack in there because it "wasn't possible".

Oh and special thanks to David for inspiring me with his art.  :)

Alright so I know most people will be sick of new RPG game posts with characters and tiles but I've had these in the works for a little while so I figured I'd post to get some C&C.

The base sprite that the characters are going to be based off of.

The base sprite rotation with all 8 directions.
I'd definitely like some input on this and help with it if anyone sees fit. Specific things I'm not fully happy with would be the back view especially.

Also like some input on this. As of now it's 4 frames but I don't have limitations just don't see the need for having too many more frames. Specific things I'm not happy with or sure of would be how the leg that goes behind looks.

The two heroes I've made so far. One's like a knight and the other would be a thief/assassin.
I realize it's not normal to have a lightly colored assassin but I thought it was refreshing even if not entirely practical.

Lastly we have the stealth system test animation. Image also shows the very small amount of tiles I have done so far.
Just showing my idea for how the stealth would look. I'm thinking maybe it would be better to leave a little outline of the character when he's in "stealth".
