Pixel Art / [WIP] "Ultra Troopers X" Generic Trooper Sprite
« on: August 28, 2011, 12:48:24 am »
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some C+C on this sprite. Among whatever improvements are suggested, I'd also like to make him look more gritty. (I'm not really sure on the color palette)

Thanks!

Pixel Art / C&C [WIP] Draconem 2/14
« on: December 27, 2010, 02:01:37 am »
Hello again,
Thought I'd post an update in case anyone was interested (in what i'm doing or in critiquing)
Figured I'd move some more recent stuff to the top:

(recap)
I'm working on pixel art for a game I started programming a couple weeks ago. I don't have much experience with pushing pixels (or other art forms), and would like the game to look as good as possible.
I plan on posting other sprites from the game within this thread as well, and would greatly appreciate any critiques on them. Thanks!

Dragon Snake Sprite (users avatar): [edit: I put in an older version of the dragon because I like it more]

32x32 for each "part", although they connect using revolution joints closer together as seen.
Which looks better? I thought about the color scheme of the original and it reminds me too much of the chicago bulls. I'm not that into the green though.
Decided on purple, but it's still in the air.
