Legs look strange, can't pin exactly why.

The gold thing needs volume and intricacy - the butt of the hilt looks really weirdly attached. And most swords don't have a 45° angle point. Also, the blade still needs to be longer (or the hilt shorter).

Should be brighter I think, but depending on how you do the surroundings you could pull it off at that darkness.

Likeness: Her eyes need to be more "tired" looking then they are in yours.

The butterfly is fine when it's wings are moving slow but when it's moving fast it doesn't look like real motion. To fix that either put in more frames in between (with shorter delay) or add some sort of trail (If you move your hand really fast you'll see an image trail).

The chick with the blue hair could use a bit of color difference in her hair (below the light halo).

The scythe needs that little shiny bit in the middle to be shinier and perhaps a bit of detail in the wooden handle.

No clue on everything else as I usually only pixel art weapons. That being said you're heaps better then me haha. Though I've never really liked the whole doll thing :-/.

Oh and I think the shading on the dolls is a bit strange, could change that.

This is my attempt at manual AA, I have an idea of how to do it but I always seem to screw it up, and no-one on any board I've been on seems to want to help :S.

The tower looks sweet, the only thing I would change is how fast the light bit transitions into the dark bit, I think it's slightly too fast, looks like there is a color junction where it turns bluey instead of a continuum of shading.

And the skull located at the "junction" is all dark, yet the one on the back side (on the blue side) has a bit of lighting from our direction, I would switch it so the one at the junction has a little bit of lighting from the left side and the one in the blue area is fully dark.

Detail is AWESOME, love it.

Edit: Could anyone give advice on manual AA on my favorite piece I've done so far? (first post in my post history) it has a lot of views (~300) but no-one has commented...

Edit2: I agree with bacca that the text isn't easy enough to read, perhaps less glow?

The opposite is needed for the planet, as bacca said it needs to be more interesting - my suggestion? Add glow.

Reference: http://www.colorado.edu/engineering/BioServe/lgplanet.jpg you can see a "halo" around the Earth, makes it look more interesting. Maybe adding a very slight bluish glow to the clouds (scattered reflection from the clouds of the sky, which itself is scattered reflection from the atmosphere).

Edit3: Also, realistically a photo from earth show's land as a brownish color, though green is fine if you're not bent on everything being realistic.

Instead of outlining with black change the outline to a fairly dark version of the color it's boardering, so a dark grey on the laptop etc.

Also the desk legs look a bit weird. Great stuff though.

Looks awesome but Phlox is right, I think by putting a tell-tale pattern on his tail, or changing the color of the behind wing, or perhaps a more bold distinction betwewn the back wing and his tail is needed.

Better then anything I could do though xD.

Also, it may just be me, but it looks like the sharpness that his tail curves with may be a bit too much.

It's a replica of Kratos's sword from the Tales of Symphonia OVA.

Transparent BG:

BG that I drew it on (deviantart bg):

It's not going to be a sprite so it doesn't really matter about having to suit all backgrounds.

I'm looking for any criticism/advice esp. with manual AA - I have no idea how to do it (when ever I do it my straight lines turn wavy).

Thanks in advance! This place looks awesome :D

Edit: Actually those aren't the same the one with the non-trans bg doens't have the right shading on the hilt, but very close :3.
