Sorry, that was a bad way to word that.. I was just making a top down moc-up for my friends that are helping me make it, but yea the game will be isometric. Your work was not in vain lol  :lol:

@yaomon17
The original intent was like a top down prospective, and I guess I really never noticed how bad it looked to the placeholder iso tiles set.

I'll keep that in mind. Also, do you think the creature looks bland with the colors that I used? Should the legs be different colored?

Wow thanks a lot tim, this is why it's good to use another person's perspective. Lighting looks great, I just need to fix the legs and I think it will look great! Oh by the way, part you didn't finish was the head lol.

So I created this centipede sprite for my game, and I would like some critique. Do you think the left legs look strange? The tile is just a place holder for my desert region, so yeah I have to redo that. Thanks.

@odedrt9 You're right the dithering didn't fit, it was just a fast edit though. Your palm tree did not have much detail like the vector palm tree. That's all I was saying, just an opinion.

Okay, so I added darker shadows/ lighter hues. I don't think the vector look fits, but it's up to you.

Cool little idea, im guessing it's Far Cry 3?
Anyways. I really didn't know how much detail you wanted in it, but since you added shading I guess this is right. I fixed the water, because it would not be very deep on the shore line. I also added darker regions to the mountains, and made the forest look more clumped together. The Sand could have been fixed better, so you may want to look back on that. Last thing you may want to rework is his feet, the strap covers over the left foot.

Thanks. I have one question though, you said you were making a calculator game. So why use a colored palette for the scene?
