I'm currently working on an Indie Studio simulation game. I did all the art myself, but that was just for development. Now I need real good looking arts. I'd need a pixel artist and animator of experience who could make distinctive, eye-catchy pixel art.

The first contract would be for about 30 tiles and 10 animated characters. (3 or 4 frames per animations). I think everything will be 48x84px.

The development of my game is very active so I would need somebody who is willing to deliver with ease and make modifications, if needed.

If it works out well, this could be a long term opportunity for both of us.

I'm looking for somebody who's open minded and ready to be creative with the project.

Here's a current screenshot of the game: (full size:

I'd like my game to have a retro pixel art look. Tiny Tower is a perfect example of what I'd want. You can see it here:

About the price, please make an estimate and I will tell you if I like the price or not. Simple as that! ;-)

Job offers / [PAID] 2D Pixel Artist/Animator for an Indie Simulation Game
« on: November 06, 2012, 05:45:24 pm »

My name is Tommy and I'm an indie developer. I'm currently working on an indie simulation game.

Quickly said, the kind of graphics I'm looking for is a mix of Tiny Tower ( ) and Prison Architect ( ).

I don't need a lot of tiles and characters. Like something between 25-50 tiles and 5 animated characters. (I'm talking about 32px square tiles).

This is all paid work. This shouldn't take long I guess, I'm not totally aware of the prices but I'm willing to pay 15-20$/hr.

I require to see some kind of portfolio to see what you worked on and I'd also like to have an estimate.

Here is some more details about what I'd need:

ANIMATIONS: (3-4max frames per animation)
I'd need 4-5 sheets like this

Also I'd need a "working on the computer" animation (typing)

Floor tiles (2 different of wood, 1 of ceramic, 1 of terrazzo)
Computer monitor
Wood walls (up/down/left/right)
Brick walls (up/down/left/right)
Computer chair
CEO Computer chair
Stacked Books
Plants (big plants in pots) (qty 3-4)

That's about it for the moment.

If you need any more information please do not hesitate.

You can write me here:

Thanks a lot and have a nice day!
