Well, your perspective right now seems to be almost horizontal to the ground, yet your ground tiles are from a top down view. That is the problem. The square tiles should be stretched out horizontally.

Heh.  That's really cool.

I think a little more shine and highlighs would do him good, unless you're going for an old/battered look. Also, the thing in his head is a gear, right? It looks kind of soft, you should make it have more defined shapes- I mean, more like the gears on his legs.

the top is supposed to look like cloth- a fighter torso. Not sure what it's meant to be made out of in rs, but I decided for this it would be cloth.

I'll work on segmenting the legs.

that was supposed to be his left leg- it's crossing behind his right one. I'll work on that. I'll change his face. And the arrow is supposed to be a whip, he holding the curled up end of it. (It's a runescape sig, and those that play it can recognize what it is). But I'll change it's position so that you can see more of it.

Well I have to finish this one up before my other one. (Sort of a break from the huge battle scene)
 

 
I'm focusing on the guy right now. The background needs alot of work, especially the clouds and grass. But I want him down first, any changes I could make?

It's not really clear WHAT he is... not sure if those dots are eyes, and the arms are shaped a bit awkwardly. Work on that.

Why are the stars black? Why is that rock bright yellow? Why is the grass so bright at the night time?

Pretty much, I think you should work on the colors more. Everything should have a greyish blue tint at night, if the moon is the only lightsource (I think).

1. i said those aren't the stars i'm using
2. Rock is coloured like that coz i was bored
3. its not even started to be coloured yet
4. Those aren't the colours im using there just default colours from paint that i used to figure out where everything was going
5. i think you should read the whole post first before posting :/

But you are soudning arrogant. You NEVER said those weren't the colors you were using. Don't get mad at people for critiquing the flaws in your work when you haven't made it clear that you plan to change those parts.

As for my advice... you need more detail, if that's all the linework your doing.

I would add more shine to the rocks, as if they were wet. Also, try adding a shine effect on little spots of the grass to replicate water droplets?

I think you should change his arms into a stance so that it looks like he is about to pounce/punch, perhaps having them closer to his back.

yeah, he needs more vertical movement. People move up and down when they run, especially wih a huge pack on their back. Also, make the gun bounce up and down each step.
