Uhm, then I'll jump on this boat aswell, asking for C&C, heh.
Looking forwards to it.
Oh and another thing if I may ask, which one of the boktai ones I did, got voted (If you still remember that's it)? Just curious.

reydragk: Hey smartypants  n=ン and so=ソ. see the curve? on N it is more horizontal, in so it is more vertical, and in both cases he kept typing SO.
As for making it andoryu, it is the way it is in Japanese. But if he wants to put it the way he wants, it's none of my business, I just pointed it out.

What Dhaos wrote is asodora btw. As for what you put in your site (Andoru no tokai), if you wanna put Andrew it would rather be Andoryu (instead of ru you have to put ri + small yu), and if you want to put "Andrew's city", instead of tokai you should use "machi". Tokai is only used for referring to urban places (as a thing), and not as city for "something-city" if you get me. (so you should put Andoryu no machi)

I dont believe that by reading tutorials you'll become any better.

You should rather practice, but it works way better if you have fun. If you have any games/pictures you like, just grab it (reference wise of course) and try to copy how was it done, paying attention to the techniques used, palette choices and all. And while at first it will just look that you are just copying, eventually you'll learn and try to move forwards, that meaning you'll try to find you own way of pixelling (as long as you want to get better). You can also set yourself different restrictions like palette wise, or size wise and all, and that will give you more experience, I guess.
Think of it as a marathon, so no need to rush it at first, as long as you keep your pace it will come.

Just have fun and dont stress.

Dan: Thanks :0

Zach: Yeah, I suppose I should play with that area next to the head and put some shadows to make the shoulders more obvious. I'll edit it soon. Thanks for the comment and crits.

Dhaos: Thanks for pointing those errors, I've edited them as soon as I could.
As for the horns, I was aware that one was longer than the other, but left it like that as I thought it looked better somehow, so I think I'll keep that as it is.
The arm was long, because that bump was supposed to be a hunch last night, but this morning forgot about it and kept shading. Whatsoever I removed it.
Glad you like the colors and face.

Aoi: Thanks, and sorry for changing your lines so much. But it was rather fun.

Started this picture by coloring these lines as some kind of collab, but got carried on editing and all, and ended with that.
16 colors.
Feel free to C&C

EDIT: new version after edits

I pretty much believe that the problem with this, is just a not-so-good color selection and shading method.
Selout, right now wont help much.

I'd recommed you to start making the picture cleaner, that meaning getting rid of those black inner lines (or softening them tone wise), picking better shading blocks and use of more vibrant colors (at least more noticeable within your palette, though that could just vary depending on the likes of each), and of course making the line itself cleaner (as it is blocky and full of noise right now if you ask me)
Also make lightning more obvious, and take care of it also in the hair (reflections and all).
Oh and the arms are really short.
And if you want to go further, you could give it a more interesting facial expresion, and details all around.

Maybe you'll want to study different fighter sprites and study from them.
Good luck with further pixelling
