Just File - Load Animation should work. At least it does in the full version. No clue about the lite or demo one.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

thanks, you're absolutely right, my version was a demo.

another question; with photoshop we can hold ALT to eyedrop a color (very useful feature), I tried this with Promotion but it didn't work. Is there something to do this by holding a key?

In programs like paint the key for eyedropper is control, this tends to be the norm with windows tools, not sure why photoshop went with alt... maybe because it's more universal since they also develop for Mac.

Is it possible to move from a document to another with a keyboard shortcuts? In Photoshop we use CTRL+Tab to do this. I tried many possibilities with Promotion but I didn't find.

File->Preferences->Shortcuts

I know about the Preferences->Shortcuts, but this thing doesn't appear in list.

It's, in fact, the very last two entries in the list, and the default should be PgUp and PgDown.

Photoshop is developed for mac, and also for pc. Not the other way round. Macs have been the standard in the graphic industry for years...

Never in that statement did i say that they were developing mainly for PC. If anything, i was alluding to the fact that they develop for PC less often, seeing as they use the alt key instead of the control key for the eyedropper shortcut, which is the norm for most PC graphical programs.

Don't turn all Mac-elitist on me. :P

Sorry if it came off like that. I was trying for hillarious sarcasm, but it failed going through the interwebs apparantly.

I have another question.

I have an animation strip. example;

 Is it possible to make it back frame by frame (and keep the palette intact too)?

I assume that strip is 8 equal size frames. If so, save it as a .bmp, load animation and load that .bmp.
Then Promotion will ask you how many rows and columns it has, which would be 1 row, 8 columns here if my medicated head is not fucking up the calculation.
This should result in a 8 frame anim using the same palette.

Only works in fullversion too I think.

One thing you can do is reading the "history.txt" in the folder where ProMotion is installed. There are many features and bugfixes listed (e.g. auto-tile completion is described there), very informative. Everybody who use ProMotion should read it once.
