Thanks ptoing, Helm, Ryumaru, Faktablad. I'm glad you guys like them.

Faktablad: Incidentally that painting was made as a 40th birthday gift for my uncle who is a professional pianist.

And here's something from last year that I forgot to scan. Christmas present for my dad (who plays the violin).

And something I did a month or two back, but never posted anywhere:

Pixel Art / Re: Never caught them all...

Haha, I love the design. You can look forward to a tought fight about that star medallion ;)

I noticed some things that makes it stick out from the Pokémon trainer style though. The feet are much bigger than most of the sprites. Generally the female trainer sprites have pretty small feet. The end of the pants are also huge, I can't spot a trainer with pants folded as yours at the bottom, but this might be a good reference anyways: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dptr/dptr130.png Another thing I noticed is the arm behind the back. You have one very straight line there (something I'd avoid with such a small sprite generally). Here's a similar pose for the arm you can use as reference: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dptr/dptr148.png

I really like this. Sweet work! I think the top one has the best shape. Try and apply the leaves from the darker places in the new version to this shape. I agree with Zee that it's starting to look a bit too "bubbly".

Maybe a little pedestal/fight area is next?
Not a bad idea. I might just do that. Or at least pixel this version of myself a la "battle style" (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/dptrba.html).

AdamAtomic Adarias: I blame that on the style of the actual game art. I used three blonde-haired trainers with short hair as references to nail the style of the hair. I'm not looking to improve the game art style, just trying to make this look as if it could actually be from the game. Colours are also snitched from the actual sprites. If this was something else than "fanart", I naturally wouldn't have coloured this way, and also used fewer colours in some places.

Oh, and anyone else who wants to pixel themselves as trainers - go ahead! It's not like you have to ask me for permission ^^; I'll gladly share the fun.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I've been playing alot of Pokémon Diamond lately. So, I was inspired to make a sprite of myself as a trainer! I'm gonna catch 'em all!

Here are the references I worked from (actual sprites ripped from Diamond/Pearl): http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/dptr.html No need to crit this, but feel free to do so if you like. I'm pretty sure I won't change much though.

When I try to use the "Mark topics as read" I get this error message:
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

It doesn't work after logging out and then in again though.

I have cleared my cookes and also changed the favourite.

Submitted a WIP, because I didn't manage to finish in time. I'm really sorry guys. But the last two weeks have been quite stressful for me. I'm in the progress of making a game (freelance job), so that takes up loooads of time every day... and then I don't always feel like sitting down to pixel even more. The final exams for my Japanese class were due today too. And I kind of prioritize that over Pixelator :sry:

So sorry snake, and everyone else. I just coudln't make it this time around. I'm sure snake's entry is awesome, so you will at least have some eyecandy to look at.
