Pixel Art / Re: Isometric characters (wip)

I think we've tried to give him help on the feet, things we think he could do, but since he doesn't want to do them, it's up to him to fix them himself. I wish him good luck with it.

I feel that the discussion of his former presence on the Pixelation forums, his webcomic and his style should probably end before it gets out of hand. He wants help on the feet of an isometric base, that's what we should be giving him.

I think Sqorqar might have accidently overlooked Froli's edit of his original sprite, which I think Froli did a good job on. Besides that, I've read AMD and I know that's most likely the style you're going for so I think we should just wait for him to have a look at the feet edit. :)

The second, "manequin" thing, he is also rather dirty and might benifit from better lineart or good sel-out. He is dull without much highlights and his leg is bent like a noodle rather than bent at the joint. Might want to finish him off before we can give good critique for him. Needs his other arm. ;)

A pretty decent isometric attempt. However, did you save that image as a JPG file? I noticed it is a PNG, but was it compressed by a program in some way? The texture on the faces of the gamecube are quite grainy. If you added the noise yourself, that's a really terrible way to texture something. Though if it was compressed, you're probably best off using a program such as GraphicsGale to save it as a quality GIF file.

Keep it up.

This is insanely cool. The first post should be edited with the latest version and spots that are open etc.. If I can't get a spot for this one, I'll wait till the next isometric collab comes around.

I coloured Blick's lineart.. all in purple.

Just a sort of practise to get me back into pixelling.

EDIT: Fixed the arm I forgot to shade, haha!

This is quite a twist on a normal collaboration picture. However it obviously could only work between two [or however many] talented artists who are good with communication. Definately would like to see how this evolves.
