First Efforts: A Few Little People

Hi everyone - first post, great forum! Glad I stumbled across it.

Recently discovered pixel art, thought I'd have a go, and this is what I came up with after an hour or so in Photoshop... any comments? Thanks!



Also, you can figure out which city I live in if you know your soccer...

Hey man!(or girl) Welcome to Pixelation! First thing you should note is that this site has a built in zoom feature( click to enlarge and Ctrl+click to shrink) so there is no need to post scaled up images. That aside your guys really are not bad at all for your first attempt! The black outline can be a bit bothersome though. I think they would look much nicer with outlines that match the colors near them ( at least on the skin anyways). Anyways I really hope you enjoy your stay here and have some fun  :P

They look okay and very eboy as Mathias points out, and that's pretty much all I can say about'em. Yeah, the colors are bleachy so more contrast and saturation would help.

Other than that, up the ambition and try again :P
