saw the new indi flick yesterday.
I thought it was pretty good, but you might need to remind yourself it's an action movie for the whole family.
A few points that best sum up my thoughts:
Tickets cost almost $20 here and I didn't feel ripped off.
Perfect length with good pacing, no scene dragged on, no scene was too short, and I never looked at my watch.
One of my friends can't help but point out every little illogical thing in movies, and everything he pointed out in indi- the movie quickly righted itself in the next 30 seconds.

and I haven't seen any of the first 3 indi movies, so that might mean something to you.
Going to see them once my store finally gets them in (we don't have any of them lol)

We have karma ratings now! ??? ;D
If it's what I think it is (award for indepth criticism) there should be a way to view which posts gave karma on a person's profile :P.

It seems to be blessings and strikes. Not just anyone can dish out anything...

I can understand the use of a visual tracking for strikes, but why anything resembling blessings?

I say the Karma thing is just there, and doesn't serve any real purpose, other than having people constantly trying to figure out what it does.

The mods are playing mind games with you guys, MIND GAMES!

I guess this was implemented due to smikers recent topic, looks like this system came about so the staff could keep track of who's where more easily.

if my sprites get ripped, do I earn praise? :D

The karma stuff was added so the mods and admins can keep track of who has strikes in a more efficient way.
You won't earn cookies (or whatever the good karma part is called) for random crap like what .TakaM mentioned.  :mean:
Only for things that benefit the community, I guess.

Practically the system is just so you feel the ban clock ticking next to you  >:D

May I have some bad karma right off the bat for that whole underdog/badass image I want so badly?   :hehe:

But no, karma should be interesting.
