The form is right sorry:) the sheridan  does have this form ;) you can find constructionplans on the internet.

made the bottom darker and the turret brighter so it gets depth i think. i find it a bit better now but not perfect ...

I can't really tell the difference between your last 3 or 4 updates at all.  It still looks very flat - in case you misunderstood the earlier posters, what you need is major shading changes here, not minor tweaks.  There is no visible light source at all, and at this angle there is no way to see that there is any depth whatsoever.  keep your lineart but get rid of your detail shading, and do a pass of just broad lighting on your major shapes first.  When it starts to look like it has depth, then go back and start adding the camo etc.

the problem is that i cant change the turret anymore because this tank is for a game and the turret will rotate later so that a lightsource is impossible to draw on that one.

i can only change the bottom of the tank. like this:

funny, that wasn't a problem for every shmup ever made...pixel art for games is a funny thing.  ANY light source is better than no light source, but you know what would be best?  Painting different lighting for each rotation of the turret.  More work, but looks sweet.  BUT even a rotating light source would be a vast improvement over this.  You could also choose a nearly vertical source to minimize any disconcerting effects during rotation.  Another compromise would be to mirror the sprite when you're rotating through half the circle, so that the lighting is mirrored (though it would not be possible with the current turret design).

Point is, there is no reason to avoid having a nice clear light source on this piece.  All it does is confuse it and make it harder to see and to read.  scrap those details, and start with some broad, high-contrast colors to sculpt your basic shapes.  Only then should you start adding details.  Also, the black outlines all over look really bad, regardless if it is a style choice or not.  Those shapes should be clear and easy to understand without outlines if you paint your light and shadows correctly.

I'd also recommend ditching the dithering on the turret, once it gets rotated it wont look good in motion

No it doesn't.  It has all the same problems that it has had in the last 5 updates.  It's flat and boring.  Throw out the details, paint the lighting on the basic masses in high contrast tones, then go in and add the detail.
