[WIP] early stages- self-portrait

working on a pixel, i haven't done one in a LONG time, and this time i tried a self-portrait (one thing i can't draw well)

i am horrible in pencil drawing, though i dun care lol

I jsut did this randomly, and i wouldl like this to go somewhere.


C/C please, if its harsh, go ahead but have meaning in yoru messages please.
Human face anotamy is something i need to study, links would be appreicated, no nudity plz (under age)

(this is going to be harsh)

you need majoer anatomy help mate it looks like a potato the eyes looks like butons and the mouth looks like u just use the circle tool the hair needs some cleaning up of the lines and why does it go from a brownish skin color to orange?

it looks like picasso was actually trying to do something good fro a change but still failed miserably.

what??

this is a drawing by Pablo Picasso:


he didnt paint abstract because he couldn't do better. it was a choice, not a limitation.

as for the face, again, if you cant do in in pencil, chages are its not going to look good in pixel. the key here is observation. you are convinced you know what eyes and mouths look like (probably from cartoons) and forget to take time and really observate them. if you take 5 minutes in front of a mirror trying to draw your face you will be able to tell that it takes a bit more then a circle to draw an eye or a mouth.

Image size doesn't matter! It's what you do with your pixels that counts!
