I actually like the first best. These newer ones you're trying to define everything the wrong way and it comes out too sharp.

It's not his lines. And they're not blades. It's kind of a doll like figure that has his mouth held closed with what you call those 'blade like things'.

It looks fine to me. I think it would actually make it look alot less interesting without those stitches.

Balls please put more effort into justifying your critique. Everybody's got opinions. The difference between an opinion and critique is that one backs up their opinion with a rationale that doesn't terminate at 'I'd prefer it like that'.
