BUMPITY BUMP BUMP! *see first post*

Added a new animation "swing left" and tweaked the other anims. Going to be working on some temp tiles now.

@Ryumaru: True, except the characters won't always be wearing heavy armor ^^U. Cloth is evil EVIL I SAY!

@Gil: That was an accident, the hips got shifted over while I was animating it. A very poor mishap on my part. I think I fixed it mostly now?

The new elf palette is pretty nice. Variation is good. As far as your orc run is concerned, its hand and gun are wobbling quite a bit, its like he doesnt have a good grip on the gun. Also the gun details are moving around alot, is that ment to be a shine?...

Conceit, as far as TVs go, it has to do with the blurring that occurs since color are projected through/by tubes (I'd have to ask my father about the technicalities, he repaired them back in the day). The colors meld...since they aren't quite as focused when compared to a digital monitor. You can't 'emulate' the effect directly unless you used an extremely high res monitor and setup some weird blending algorithims (and stretched the image).... even then it probably wouldn't look right.

Elfy and orcy...this could get ugly. Good update, the heavy dark shading seems to give the piece a comic-book like feel. It would be neat to see those game sprites of your soon too ^_^.

I do think you could use one more green tone in there...to add some detail to the darker areas, the skin and hair etc already have a fairly smooth transition, but the green doesn't. Might want to add more detail to the smoke, it doesnt exactly match the sprite style at all.

I didn't really notice the head problem on the side view walk oops x_x. I see what you two were trying to tell me about the swing, I think I misinterpeted how I was swinging in the mirrior. I'll get to work on it.

Adarais, lol yeah I really need to tone down that front view twisting. I'm aiming for something very close to baldur's gate. You got your hero/heroine and his 'summons' pretty much.

Lick, you've got a point with the side-view walk. He is indeed too stiff. I'll make sure to deal with that soon. As far as the swing, I'm not too sure, I was able to stand and swing like that. However I may have missed something (or perhaps something got deformed due to perspective) I'll take some more time to see whats wrong. Thanks for pointing it out.

Doing some frame rate tests for my project. Deciding on 10fps or 20fps animations.

*perspective is at 30degree tilt or so

-base frame/proportions
-lower legs a few px too long

-torso sways and turns too much

-head turns now, delayed the hand from 'dropping' back by a few pixels

-fixed?

-strike might be wrong (was hard to render at this perspective so it may be off)

Interesting lil buggers. The attack is really nice, I'm having fun watching all the tiny details move about. The walk's movement is good, but it seems too smooth, as if he's gently gliding about.

Hehe, nice job, silly and gorey nice combo. Since everything is so shiney, you might add a shine highlight to the horns. Also being that the light *looks* like its comming from the topish...shouldn't the top edge of the wood have a highlight (or the bottom section be darkened by a shadow?) Right now you darkened it ^^U
