Polycount has a low-poly section where you'll often find models with pixel art textures.
http://polycount.com/discussion/41232/lowpoly-sub-1000-triangle-models/p278

There is a guy there who goes by tennis who does pixel art textures exclusively so he might have some creations that suit you.

Just some mock-up crap I thought I could finish in the 3 days before Christmas :(. All sprites are wip.

Not finishing it really put me in a bad mood... oh well

Hi Rosier, nice improvement!

I think it would really benefit you to try out something more complex than the usual two color shading.

Today I managed to come up with a concept for a great sword that uses two parallel handles for more effective use.

Though the benefits are clear I'll mention that you should notice how the dual handled great sword is easier to wield, strike with, and sheath. Something that's a bit harder to see at first is that the dual handled great sword actually has a lower mass than a regular great sword.
Surely if the knights of yesterday thought of something like this. we'd be calling them knights of today.

I also made this thing I have no intention of pursuing.

Maybe the legs shouldn't be coming down at the same angle.

^ ^ ^ ^ you should post these so it's easier to see immediate problems with your animation.

I stabilized your guy a bit. The character shouldn't be jumping around during a run cycle. The forward movement is handled by your code.

^ ^ This is what your animation actually would look like with only up and down movement of the torso. Not half bad :)

Not sure if your trying to force the animation to 4 frames. If you are I would change up the last frame. The transition from the 3rd to 4th frame makes a rough 'jump'. The 'jump' makes it look more like a gallop than a run which you can totally go for if that's what you want. A lot of people go for the gallop

*note if your click/shift-click an image it will grow/shrink.

Alcohol is nasty. If you don't agree you are nasty.
I have alleged documentation of several studies that could possibly prove what I'm saying.
