I feel that you are overtexturing some tiles, mostly the wooden walls in the house and the tree trunk I think that in the house you can easily remove one tone and it will look nearly the same, same with the tree trunk, and that is also affecting some of the sprites with cloth.

With the sprite base I find the head relative small compared to the body. Apart from that I really love how it is looking : D!

I actually prefer the sketch than the current pixeled one, you should add the clock and improve how the DR.W at the head looks since it doesn't lookgood  due to those colors.

My Main concern is that you might not be using Nes Palette, something that is alright. I must say you are doing allright ;D! I really like your boss designs.

Hmm, I started the edit to show ya on the chat but took more time  :'( and you logged off, still incomplete but here is it:

First of, your pallete is big for a simple piece, you are using 18, but you could perhaps reduce it to 10, I made some mistakes and didn't sprited the orange eyes ; _;, from seeing your palette I can see that you don't mess with saturation, something that it's fine but if you want to use less quantity of colors start messing with the saturations since, most times greys are the way to go with colour ramps, the dithering you are using is waay too much, that just makes the frog texture looks unrealistic and noisy.

I beleive the main problem you are suffering is that you are seeing his work not as a tileset, meaning that you don't know how things work D:, I beleive you should start from the doodling process again since you started detail way to fast.

I have always seen the arms to small, perhaps making them longer might make the punch animation look more like a punch  and less like a elbow type attack.

Thanks alot to people at #pixelation ;D! currently think I am working is the wolf so it fits the perspective, somewhat stuck on the turtle shield, the rock will be changed later, but still I am not sure if the tones are the correct, or if something else is looking weird. thanks!
