pallete workshop challenge - Mayan Ruins

on: January 07, 2008, 12:18:36 pm
I was going to post this straight in the challenge topic but thought I'd get some CC first :) Using this pallete was a real challenge for me and looking back I wish I hadn't chosen a scene with this much foliage with this pallette but I'm relatively happy with it, at least I'm not sure where to go with it now lol

A little messy on the lower parts, though a very cool result. Still the depth in the steps upwards to the temple isn't very clear. These 'giants stairs' are what make people recognize the mayan culture, so you should try and make it come forwards a bit clearer.
