Pixel Art / Re: [C+C] Sprites/Animations for the-game-with-the-tree

Hi, I'm just a beginner but I hope this still helps :)
I arched her back to accentuate the Badassness of her pose. For the animation I mostly just made waving or circular moving dots and connected them together, and for the hair I made a waving line, duplicated it a couple of times and colored it in red and purple,  then I cleaned it a bit. I never tried working on a sprite this small before but I think you might want to play with the palette a bit I'm not sure.
I like the charter and it was fun playing with, it ended up pretty noisy  btw that's all I could do in that time :)

Since I was a little late to the party before I thought I'd Just try to move things around a bit and see what happens.

Well, I didn't see Seiseki's edit and I already did one of my own so I might as well post it...

im trying to imagine these tiles used to make walls in a shooter since they don't seem to have any structure to them.
they look like rocks at the bottom that would just fall apart if not supported.
seems more appropriate to make some structural rocks with coral or something along the lines of Xenon 2:
OMG! this was my favorite game as a little kid, I never managed to find it as I didn't know its name, so thanks a million :

My idea for the game is having the player being able to scroll sideways indefinitely until he hits the a rock wall while having rock obstacles shapes and/or mazes in the middle to keep it interesting,(it works well in my head but I guess I'll just have to see how it works ingame)
I'm currently working on more edge shapes. If you have any input on the idea please let me know . :)

I was actually more or less fished with these tiles before I started highlighting, this was my process.

Maybe let his finger stay there a bit more after the drag.

You need more contrast in the palette, and I'd try to make less banding/pillow shading

You play with making him less symmetrical, evil is usually portrayed asymmetric (and it could look more interesting imo).

I don't believe you that it's not photographic/reduced actually, but whatever. You seem to have pixel level control on these, so good on you.
I guess I should take that as a compliment .It took me a lot of time to make it tile this way, if it was a reduced picture there is no way it would tile this way, you can play with the tiles if you want. This was my reference at first in case you were wondering.

and if you try to reduce this picture it turns out much less blurry, I acually tried to make my tiles more crisp but it looked jaggy, you can also see a few of my Wips in comments I made before.
this is my first attempt at making tiles by the way, from the green-purple one to this, it took me about a month (I have other obligations so I didn't do it all the time obviousely).
