This is the absolute oldest crap I have.

This was for a Klik 'n' Play game, and I'm pretty sure I posted this in some other thread already. (Made 7 or 8 years ago)

And these were for--- I'm not too sure what they were for... either way, here they are. (Made 4 or 5 years ago?)
Ah, the good ol' days. Back then, I didn't feel like an ass for using 32 colors on a single sprite's head.

I'll see if I have any old (functioning) floppies lying around containing old art, though I doubt that I do. I'll blame my tendancy to move annually.

(It's moments like these that make me realize why I'm single.)

O' dearest Animation. It's been far too long. (I might add tears, though I probably won't.)

EDIT: Oh yous guys. Okay, I'll make some alterations.

Yeah, trim those thunder-thighs. They're thicker than her ass. Also, check out Helm's shoulder-blade edit in terms of the shape/location. Etc.

Kill the background.

Way too many dark shades. How many colors are you using for outlines?

Push your palette around more. Look at how many colors you're using for the mouth. How many of those colors aren't used anywhere else?

If you REALLY want that "cartoony outlines" look, still try to aa the lines, or at least use lighter shades for the lines depending on where the light falls.

The character's design is really boring. With the exception of the cigarette, there's nothing about the face that sticks out. Maybe add a nose (assuming that spike coming from his cheek is just that; a spike)? Some pupils? Ear openings? Eyebrows? Add some detail to that sword's sheath, man.

---

Your design w/o a background.

AA more effectively / maximize use of your colors.  (Eye / Sword handle)

More details? Give your character MORE character. (Nose and pupils)

Work on being more patient.

The public rooms are a joke. I have yet to see an interactive public painting site that doesn't turn into a pissing contest.
Such a pain in the ass.
