I thought so. Your designs are already very "iconic" in nature, and they're good, too. That, and your style consistency made me think of suggesting you do an actual icon set. Choose a theme and go for it. I think you'll like having a set theme to help structure your work into a cohesive whole. Might even be able to sell it, who knows.
Don't know if you use a layered graphics program or not, but
here's an icon creation template I made a while back, which you can use an underlying layer while working. You might find it useful. I've linked you to a flattened version of a Photoshop file, it's all you really need. If you don't understand how icon files work, better do a little research before plowing into it too much. The program Microangelo is my preferred icon compiling program. I use Photoshop and Illustrator for all design, though you can draw in Microangelo if you want. The drawing tools are very basic.
