[WIP] Tree leafs - Need help!!

Hey there guys!!!

I'm starting a new RPG game project, and i'm making some tiles  
But, i'm having trouble with some specific sprites...



This is my process of leaf/bush making, and it took some time to get the final result.

What i want is to make a tree sprite using this style of leafs, i will create more 'bushes' like this one and put them together uppon a trunk.
But they leaf's seem so flat... What should i do to give'em some depth?
