The face isn't done at all!
Well I'm not sure if it is a female or male, because Japanese guys like multi-gender stuff :P
But if you look at the nose in your reference and look at the nose in your pixel you can see that your has an strong colored outline and the overall shades are too dark and have a to high contrast. The eyes are misplaced And are too big and have a weird shade under the eyes. And the eyes to have a strong outline, if you wish to follow the style of the Japanese manga, shmanga, anime, magnime you need to pick your pallet more carefully, and study the color transition.

Sorry that I didn't have time to reply. I actually used reference on that drawing I cant quite find it now, but i was more of a stylized portrait.
But anyways, I did a self-portrait. And need some crits on it.

Holy crap, i just love your stone :)
One thing I might suggest is to blend the woods and stone and the rest of the terrain types better ;), but I'm gussing that your'e already working on it.

Hey it's me again, I have trouble drawing faces lately even if i'ts required of me, I hope I could get some critique on these rough versions. They are part of a set where i have to make every face in two versions one in 30*30 the other in 60*60.
I hope I could get some critique on how they look the anatomy and their posture, and the colors are from arnes pallet with some added by me.

Here is the first two:





B.t.w. They are supposed to be view'd with X2 zoom.  :lol:

Update thank for the tips but i dint get what you didnt like with the trunk , it seams fine too me. I tried to fix the chin but not sure if it helped.
