obviously it is a big difference if both sets have that ammount of votes.

but the point is, if one were removed, the majority of the voters of the removed one would go to the other, and vise versa. However, if another was removed, the voters would probably distribute their votes amongst all the others in some sort of equal fashion... you see?

Gas's and Helms are pretty spot-on, except for the use of smooth ramps, which are present mostly in Gas's. One thing to note on helms is how where the edges of two defined surfaces meet, there is actually a third color, making the edge appear less harsh, whereas in the DDP sprites, the edges of two surface's highlights almost never converge to make a third color.

They both do look amazing, nevertheless.

Greeaaat improvement. The form is much clearer now, and it looks a lot more eye-catching. The one thing to remember though (and this is illustrated in Adam's drawing) is that right before the edge of the mushroom on the right (dark) side, you should use the midtone again, to show ambient light. In Adam's drawing you see that the darkest colour actually isn't used on the farthest right side, but only close to it, he then goes back to the midtone.

This is the kinda crap that gets you reprimanded, Gil, so the next time you get warned by the admins, you won't have to ask if you're "really that much of an ass," because I'll tell you right now, you are. These comments are completely unnecessary, and only discourage members.

Zee, I think that one thing in general to work on is your use of the palette. For example the eyes on the alien... hooker, you use 2 shades that are almost completely identical, yet you only use 3 shades for the skin leaving it really harshly shaded. I'd suggest maybe bumping the colour count up to 4, 5, or even 6 for the skin and smooth out the basic form you have outlined.
