Hyperball Mockup

on: July 04, 2006, 10:43:33 am
This is a mock up of a freeware game me and a programmer are currently making for our portfolios.

(the 2 powerups shown are Damage and Bless)

The game is called hyperball and it is basicly a fancy version of pong. the hardest thing so far is knowing what to do with a light source, as its in space i feel i cant really have a strong directional one.

I think its about 20 colours but there might be more

Im quite happy with everything but the boarders

Sure it can. You can easily have an off-sight star for a lightsource. You can help define where the star is (which I would personally choose as in front of all the action, and not visible) by adding some backdrop planets and shading them.
